SBSD Staff will be available to measure in person on Saturday, November 15th from 8:30-10:30 am at the Poway Studio.

Wednesday, May 13 - Picture Day (RB Studio)

Saturday, June 6 - Mandatory Dress Rehearsal (RB Studio)

Friday, June 12 - Mandatory Staging Run Through (CCAE)

Saturday, June 13 - 2026 Recital (CCAE)

Recital Agreement

I understand that all information regarding the 2026 Recital will be communicated via email and also posted on our website (www.sbsdinc.com). I understand that the recital experience is most successful when every student has consistent attendance throughout the season, but specifically the last 2 weeks of class before the big show. We thank you in advance for your commitment! I have read and reviewed the Important Dates, and my dancer will attend Picture Day (May 13), Dress Rehearsal (June 6) and Staging Run Through (June 12). I understand that ALL costume fees are non-refundable. I understand that if my child drops a class or withdraws from SBSD, for ANY reason, there are no refunds or returns for costumes. I understand that the Recital Fee, which includes the dancer's participation in recital (all rehearsals + recital day) and a professional recital video (via digital download), is non-refundable. I understand that the early bird pricing of $115 (plus $65 for each additional sibling) will increase in price after 11/21/25 to $120 (plus $70 for each additional sibling).

Measurements

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape horizontal, and have dancers stand with arms down at their sides.

Waist

Measure around the natural waist (To identify the natural waistline, instruct dancers to bend over to one side and have the measurer place a finger at the indentation. As the dancers stand up, use this point as the indicator for where to measure around the waist.)

Hips

Have dancers stand with their feet together and measure around the fullest part of the buttocks.

Girth

Measure AROUND the torso, starting at center of one shoulder, down the front of the body, THROUGH the legs and up the back of the body to the starting point. Measuring tape MUST FORM A COMPLETE CIRCLE around the torso!

Inseam

Place the measuring tape at the inner leg, measuring from the crotch all the way to the floor (or just below the ankle bone if dancer is wearing shoes).

There is a COSTUME FEE per class. Using the prices listed below, total the costume fee amounts for each class and list that amount below:

$75 - Pre-Dance + Combo Classes $125 - Pointe $80 - All Other Classes

Add the RECITAL FEE of $120 per dancer (or $70 for each additional sibling) to the amount listed above in order to calculate your total amount due:

I authorize SBSD to charge my card on file for the recital fee and costume fees. (Payment for the Recital Fee and Costume Fees will be posted to your parent portal account and will be automatically charged on Friday, November 21st. )
